No, broad spectrum hemp oil contains less than 0.3% THC, nowhere near enough to elicit a “high” feeling.
Absorption can occur through the mucous membranes (gums, lips, tongue) which may achieve better levels in the body.

We provide a no-spill bottle adapter and plastic syringe for safer and easier administration. And we try and offer the most up to date information we legally can.
Hemp oil is best absorbed through the mucous membranes. We provide a syringe and an illustrated diagram showing the best way to administer. Most dogs enjoy the taste of salmon oil and will take it willingly. You can either follow the dosing chart provided or calculate the serving exactly based on the weight of your pet.
Hemp oil is best given twice daily (every 12 hours). For some applications, such as separation anxiety, only one serving per day may be necessary.
Because of the wide range in dog sizes it becomes difficult to provide only one concentration and then accurately dose the very smallest and very largest dogs. So, we have provided two concentrations. The smaller concentration is meant for dogs under 40 pounds and the larger concentration is meant for dogs over 40 pounds. The full serving chart is posted on our website so that you can accurately dose for your dogs’ weight with either product. This tends to be most useful if, for example, you have two dogs at significantly different weights.
We use only pure concentrated hemp oil extract in pure wild caught, sustainably sourced salmon oil and nothing else. We use salmon oil as our carrier because it is both rich in omega 3’s including DHA and EPA and it is palatable to most dogs.
While we cannot make specific claims regarding effectiveness, we can tell you other mammals are known to have the same system in which broad spectrum hemp oil can act in our bodies. So, we can reasonably assume hemp oil has similar effects on our dog and cat friends as it does with us.
